axi-live Terms of Service
Effective date: September 28, 2026
These terms set out the conditions for using axi-live and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company, customers, and users.
Chapter 1. General provisions
Article 1Purpose
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using axi-live (the "Service") provided by AXIMUM Co., Ltd. (the "Company"), and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company, customers, and users.
Article 2Definitions
- "Customer" means a business or organization that has a service agreement with the Company and has deployed the Service.
- "Staff" means a person invited by a customer and given a console account.
- "Visitor" means a person who asks the Service questions through the web chat on a customer's website or similar channels.
- "User" means staff and visitors together.
- "Documents" means files and their content that a customer uploads to the Service to be used as answer sources.
- "Console" means the screens where staff manage documents, conversation records, follow-up requests, settings, and usage.
Article 3Effect and amendment of the terms
These terms take effect when posted on the Service. The Company may amend them within the limits of applicable law and will announce amendments on the Service and by email 7 days before they take effect (30 days for unfavorable or significant changes). Continuing to use the Service after the amended terms take effect means you agree to them.
Article 4Protection of personal data
The Company protects users' personal data under applicable law and the Privacy Policy. Visitor conversations and contact details are processed on behalf of customers, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Chapter 2. Using the Service
Article 5What the Service provides
- Web chat answers based on documents uploaded by the customer (Korean, English, Japanese)
- Follow-up requests for questions whose answers cannot be found in the documents
- Voice answers and voice testing
- A console to manage documents, conversation records, follow-up requests, personas, and usage
- Other features the Company develops or provides
Article 6Service agreement and accounts
The service agreement is formed when a customer applies and the Company accepts, and the Company creates and provides the customer's workspace. Staff accounts are issued by the customer's administrator or a Company operator, and the customer decides staff roles and permissions. Visitors use the web chat without an account.
Article 7Managing account credentials
Staff must keep their passwords secure and must not share them or their accounts with others. If an account is compromised or unauthorized access is suspected, staff must notify the customer's administrator and the Company immediately. Customers must promptly remove staff accounts that are no longer needed, for example when staff leave.
Article 8Nature and limits of AI answers
The Service is designed to answer only from what it finds in the customer's documents and, when it cannot find a source, to offer a follow-up instead of making up an answer. Due to the nature of AI, it may still misread documents or give inaccurate answers.
- Customers are responsible for the accuracy and currency of their documents and should regularly review conversation records to check answer quality.
- Important decisions or safety-related guidance in areas such as medicine, law, or finance must be confirmed by staff and must not rely on the Service's answers alone.
- The Company works to improve answer quality but does not guarantee the accuracy of every answer.
Article 9Customer's duty to inform visitors
When installing the web chat on its website, a customer must make sure visitors can tell that they are talking to AI and that conversations are recorded, and must disclose the necessary information about processing visitors' personal data in its own privacy policy. The Service shows that answers come from AI and that conversations are recorded on the chat screen by default.
Article 10Provision and suspension of the Service
The Service is in principle available 24 hours a day, all year round. The Company may suspend it temporarily for maintenance or replacement of equipment, outages, interruptions of external services (such as cloud or AI model providers), or other unavoidable reasons, and will give advance notice where possible.
Article 11Changes to the Service
The Company may change features of the Service or the AI models it uses for operational or technical reasons. Changes with a significant impact on customers will be announced before they apply.
Article 12Fees
Fees and settlement for the Service are set in a separate agreement between the Company and the customer. The Company shows usage such as web chat answers, voice time, and document indexing in the console.
Chapter 3. Rights and obligations
Article 13Obligations of the Company
The Company complies with applicable law and these terms and strives to provide the Service reliably. The Company takes security measures to protect users' personal data and customers' documents and does not use them for purposes other than providing the Service.
Article 14Obligations of users and prohibited conduct
Users must not do any of the following.
- Using another person's account or misusing account credentials
- Hacking the Service, bypassing security features, or sending abnormally large numbers of requests
- Attempting to access another customer's data
- Uploading documents you have no rights to, or documents containing more of other people's personal data than necessary
- Uploading or entering content that violates law or public order or infringes others' rights
- Using the Service to replicate AI models or build a competing service
Article 15Rights to documents and data
Rights to documents uploaded by a customer and to conversation records created in the Service belong to the customer. The Company processes them only as needed to provide and improve the Service and does not use them for other purposes or disclose them to third parties without the customer's consent. Rights to the Service itself and to the screens, software, and trademarks created by the Company belong to the Company.
Article 16Restrictions and termination
If a user violates these terms, the Company may restrict use of the Service after giving notice, or restrict first and notify afterwards if there is an urgent security risk. When the service agreement ends, the Company destroys the customer's documents and conversation records under the procedure agreed with the customer, and the customer should download any data it needs before the agreement ends.
Chapter 4. Supplementary provisions
Article 17Limitation of liability
The Company is not liable for damages caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, power outages, failures of external infrastructure or AI model providers, or government orders. The Company is also not liable, absent its intent or gross negligence, for damages caused by errors in documents uploaded by a customer or by users following AI answers without review.
Article 18Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the Service shall in principle be resolved through mutual consultation, and if consultation fails, either party may file a suit with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
